Well, since its a really new release, I've never had a chance to even mention anything about it earlier - how can it be "incessant"? :-D

No, silly. Your post proves my point that you are clueless.

1.) if you think of my opinion as "wisdom" - well, thank you, nice of you. :-) Though it was intented to be an opinion only - you should also have one, its fun! Better than being EXCUSIVELY personal and offensive.
2.) You might have missed my comments on Road Tapes 2. Never mind. ;-)

Never mind, sometimes it happens - thought one time you should try this opinion thing, you'll love it! (BTW - this is a thread on a musical release: what do YOU think of it?)

I don't believe it either. Then again that would be surprising of G&S to sell a boot CD. Not in a hurry to get this if it's real. Would be something to add in the cart when a more interesting release comes up. Love that performance, but I'm fine now with having the DVD.

It would be interesting to reconstruct the whole show as it happened. Can someone make a guess on the original order of the tunes?

My guess (the bold ones are the additions to this new release, the italics are the changed positions):

A Token of My Extreme (Vamp) - 2:29 DUB CD
Stink-Foot (3:58) [4:13]
Inca Roads (9:51)
Approximate DUB DVD
Cosmik Debris - 7:44 DUB CD
The Dog Breath Variations/Uncle Meat (4:02)
Montana (6:44) [5:56]
Earl Of Duke (5:49)
Florentine Pogen (11:08) [9:56]
Pygmy Twylyte (7:47) [5:50]
Room Service (12:12) [11:24]
Oh No/Son Of Orange County (7:10)
More Trouble Every Day (7:17)
A Token Of My Extreme (1:25)]

[updated order, following Information INK]

Fingertips. And boy you sure are an angry little man. I suppose you would build up so much hate if you spent your childhood being beaten and mouth-fucked by your drunken father.

nah, no anger here just embarassment in the zappa universe as you need to self-edit, as it seems any stupid thought that passes your mind is post-worthy.
see insult directed my way above. Retarded.

Maybe it is better to wait for US Amazon, the Europe price is high, maybe they don't even officially release it (oh why think!!!)

That looks like an old TV guide listing.

Better than cool. Really like the back, great pic of FZ. Maybe this release is a better idea than I originally stated.

If its the same quality as the DVD then its really great, though the original order (as it was played in the concert) would have been really cool. Without Room Servise (for 3rd time now?!) but with the Token intro and Approximate. Okay, the same material as the DVD, but at least it would give the feeling of some kind of completeness. (okay, its like 4 minutes longer, but in most of the cases its like 10s/songs. Is it worth? Why not the Token intro instead?)

This release is horrible marketing. TOHE should have been a DVD/CD release in one package. I would have gladly paid $30 for that as one release. I'm sure Gail pays no attention to how audio/video releases are put together like that.
A few examples:
Mike Keneally - Bakin' @ The Potato, & Guitar Therapy Live
Ween - Live In Chicago '03 CD/DVD
most of Doug Stanhope's albums
Zappa Plays Zappa '06 CD/DVD :shock:

True. Zep's Celebration Day and the live Aristocrats album too. But Black Country Communion and Peter Gabriel have recently been guilty of the same as the ZFT.

I dunno. Gail likes to control the cd's, and we can only thank the lord that she decided to partner with Eagle Rock, get those dvd's out there at bargain prices. Otherwise, who the heck knows how it would play out?

What is with all the dates on the tracks? I thought it was all from the same show.

Those are the dates each composition was first released.

This is how I interpret it:

1.The Dog Breath Variations 1988->YCDTOSA Vol. 2, Helsinki
2.Uncle Meat 1988->YCDTOSA Vol. 2, Helsinki
3.Montana 1973->Over-nite Sensation
4.Earl Of Duke 2013->A Token Of His Extreme (i.e. Premiere recording)
5.Florentine Pogen 1975->One Size Fits All
6.Stink-Foot 1974->Apostrophe(')
7.Pygmy Twylyte 1974->Roxy & Elsewhere
8.Room Service 2007->The Dub Room Special!
9.Inca Roads 1975->One Size Fits All
10.Oh No 1970->Weasels Ripped My Flesh
11.Son Of Orange County 1974->Roxy & Elsewhere
12.More Trouble Every Day 1974->Roxy & Elsewhere
13.A Token Of My Extreme 2007->The Dub Room Special!

I call bullshit on a few of these. First of all, the "Dog Meat" medley may have premiered on YCDTOSA2, but it is still being listed as two tracks, both of which are from Uncle Meat, so they should carry the 1969 date. "Room Service" appeared on YCDTOSA2, so that should carry the date of 1988.

"A Token Of My Extreme" is kind of a grey area. The song itself premiered on Joe's Garage, Act II, which would be 1979, but that's the vocal version. The instrumental intro vamp version was on YCDTOSA2, but it was called "Tush Tush Tush (A Token Of My Extreme)". So, really, the only rationale for using the Dub Room Special date is that it was the first time that the intro vamp version appeared with that title.
