WOIIFTM was my first Zappa CD, and I still love it as much as I did when I first heard it. Put Lumpy Gravy (the album, not the Forum member ;D) into the mix, and you have an unbeatable combo.

I was just saying that my favorite "DISC" is the one I put all my Zappa songs on - does that offend your superior sensibilities?

MY favorite album is "Orchestral Favorites." Am I alone in thinking this is an incredibly fantastic album? No one else even mentioned it, I don't think.

Some albums get more play than others... Läther, Sleep Dirt, The Lost Episodes, and CP III are top contenders. Depends on what seems appropriate at the time.

But if I had to choose only one, I would choose Waka/Jawaka. It gets the most play out of all the ones I have. If there's a point of indecision, more times than not Waka/Jawaka gets the nod.

"We're Only in it For the Money" is my favorite: mocks virtually every aspect of the late 1960s. Supposed to be a parody of St. Peppers but ironically is a better concept album than Peppers. There are so many great melodies on top of that, plus some beautiful orchestral arrangements that just appear out of nowhere.

It's very interesting. Not the easiest to listen to--you have to pay attention to it closely or much of it goes over your head (at least mine). If nothing else, it is a unique album.

And best title for a rock album of all time.

Put in another vote for We're Only In It For The Money. I'm listening to it right now. I think the second time in a week. This album is sheer awesomeness....

Then, Lather or Apostrophe is 2nd. If my house was burning down, I'd go for WOIIFTM 1st, then Lather (since it's long.)

This is my third or fourth time answering the question, and I think I might be defeating the purpose of the question, but I just got "Crush All Boxes," and what I read so many others saying is true - this sort-of boot has some great mixes of songs from "Tinseltown Rebellion" and "You Are What You Is" and it is tons-o-fun hearing 'em in this new way, so right now it is my favorite.
