If it was the vinyl mix - I'd go with the Gumbo Variations - but since most folks here have the CD - I'll choose Willie.

This is the BEST LP by anyone - anywhere - ever - of ALL TIMES!!!!!

I chose Peaches, it's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever had the joy of listening to, LOVE IT!

This might be the toughest album for me to pick a favorite. It's not even a particular favorite album of mine, it's just so consistent from start to finish. Last time I was asked, I picked "Little Umbrellas", then it was "Camel", but now I think I'm leaning towards "Peaches".

So that's my vote: Willie the Pimp.

Peaches En Regalia is possibly the great melody ever.

When I listen to this album on my iPod Nano, I place Bognor Regis as the opener and stick Twenty Small Cigars in between Son of Mr. Green Genes & Little Umbrellas. For me, this is the ideal way to listen to the greatest album of all time!

used to have a heavy peaches habit, took the 12-step program, now it's under control with moderate to heavy doses of variaciones del gumbo

Didja know that "Camel Tune" is an anagram for "Uncle Meat"?

Alleged reference to Camel cigarettes though Frank smoked Winstons, I don't have sources for this though.

Since this is my first post, I'll choose the controversial (and previously unchosen) option:

"If Bognor Regis was on the album, it would be my favorite"

In reality, I can't just choose one track off this masterpiece of an album.

Peaches....just because NO ONE HATES PEACHES. It might not be the best piece in Zappa's ouevre, but it sure has the most fans.

I went with The Gumbo Variations
I can't get enough of Ian's alto solo and Sugarcane Harris' violin solo :D

Bognor Regis? :?

Sharleena b/w Bognor Regis remains unreleased to this day. In fact, Sharleena has never been officially released as a single.
