WOWIE ZOWIE

hey zappafan90, if you have pando -- which allows larger files to be sent thru email -- I could send it to ya. Or to someone who has available webspace . . .
I mean, why shouldn't I give it away? It's not my property,

edit: cool jimmie d!

I've already pm'd an mp3 link to him. He's probably under the headsets right now.

Here it is, again, for others to enjoy. I fuckin' love the song. Even the scratches on the acetate sound good. 8)

yeah it's got that old feeling, soon as the needle drops and the first note . . .
it sent me right back to the feeling of hearing the original Sharleena for the first time and how that knocked my socks off.
my god I've listened to a lot of zappa today and hearing Bognor Regis again after all that
a) I'm not worthy
b) it's as good as any of the music done by that band
c) it would have been the perfect b-side

"Son of Mr. Green Genes" is my technical favorite, but Peaches has sentimental value to me, as it was the first FZ song I had ever heard and it blows me away still.

It's tough to choose just one, but if I must, then it's The Gumbo Variations.

I picked Peaches by a hair over pretty much every other track. This is a near perfect record. My roomate freshman year had to hear Son of Mr. Green Genes every freakin' day!

I've had the intro to The Gumbo Variations stuck in my head for about a week now. GREAT piece of music. Love that bassline.

I probably voted for Peaches too. Although I still say King Kong is better. (Holds longtime grudge)

Yep, yep!!! This is always in my top ten fave FZ peices.
I played it recently for an older gentleman guitar player
pal of mine (non-FZ initiate). He was ASTOUNDED at the changes
in each section.

After more than 25 years of being a Zappa fan, I still can't get enough
of this one.
