Blessed Relief barely edges out Grand Wazoo. Love 'em both (the whole album, really) but B. R. is a tune i listen to when things are grinding at me, and it does give me relief. Man i love that record.

i loves the bit in eat that question where the tune dies down and just fz plays the riff slowly with that awesome guitar tone ... then the riff with the whole band returns with a vengeance.

The title track but honestly, I've always seen this album as one complete piece with five different sections.

I'm with you on this. Blessed Relief sounds good because of when it is.

I've been listening to the whole album three times over the week, and I'd say For Calvin is by far the most interesting composition. It is really deep into developing the thematic material.

But The Grand Wazoo is great all the way through. It doesn't have a piece that falls out of context, which is something that annoys me with some other albums, Chunga's Revenge, for instance. It has some great tunes, but the overall aura is wrong.

Tough call: Grand Wazoo 'cause it's the grandest.

Cletus Awreetus-Awrightus is my favorite. Mostly because when I first heard it, the song gave me an insight to Frank's musical humor (non-vocal humor) that I had not realized theretofore.

So I played it over and over and over and over and laughed and laughed and laughed.

Rum-pum-pum etc...!!!

yeah calvin is a great composition, but for me

Blessed Relief. I think a beautiful piece that is underlooked.

This album as a whole is perfect though.

I have always loved The Grand Wazoo because it sounds like a drum corps but over the years I have grown particularly fond of Blessed Relief.

I would probably have chosen Eat That Question anyway, but after years of not really favoring this album, it took for forefront of my consciousness as I had a dream that I was playing the riff with Frank, plugged in and LOUD.

Really bizarre as I am a drummer and couldn't play hot cross buns on guitar if my life depended on it.

SO... Eat That Question
