sorry, don't know that one. it has been discussed here before, though.

here's a link to some speculation: R D N Z L

if I would speculate, I come pretty close to what this guy says:
Quote:
From: biffyshrew@aol.com (Biffyshrew)
[..]remember that the first release of "RDNZL" (on the Studio Tan LP) had the track spelled "Redunzl," although all subsequent releases, including the Studio Tan CD, use the shorter spelling. I realize that FZ was not involved in the Studio Tan packaging, so the original spelling could have been a miscommunication. (Zappa pronounced the word to rhyme with "Rapunzel.")

GP is great, I think. Some truly amazing stuff in there - the 'stenopool' part is one of the best pieces of music FZ ever wrote.

I totally love the version on The Lost Episodes. Short but sweet jazzy workout.

Looks like we're the only two on this bandwagon, DB.

As for RDNZL, I think the version on "The Lost Episodes" blows this one away.

I love the version on Piquantique the best, the solos are insanely beautiful there!

I voted for Low-Budget Orchestra! It's climax is a sort of a musical orgasm!

Revised Music For Guitar And Low-Budget Orchestra

Some of Zappa's best guitar work in my opinion.
