I have it saved. I spent way to much time on this to just let it go away. Also, to the person who asked about how the reaction on the other board was... it was alright. But, I don't think that anyone had ever heard of my #1 song so that kind of threw them off a bit. I left a lot of songs off of the list, and I think I rushed it a bit. But, looking back on it, I'm pretty pleased.

Packard Goose is actually one of my all-time favorite songs as well !

However it is in-excusable that you did NOT include MONTANA

You better come up with the world's best explanation for leaving that one out.
It contains the greatest 3 seconds of music FZ has ever recorded !!!

That's a HUGE affirmative!

I bought Sheik Yerbouti and Joe's Garage I-III on the same day, and put Yerbouti on first. It was my first real experience with Zappa's music, other than a brief listen to Overnite Sensation when I was too young to appreciate it. I knew that I had made a good purchase in Sheik Yerbouti when City Of Tiny Lights came along. I enjoyed the material on the record up to that point because I like to rock out and I like to laugh, but THAT song in particular just turned me on and might be the reason I'm still listening to Zappa now, and one more reason to love Adrian Belew, another favourite of mine.

Man it's been about a year since I did this, and just by browsing over it I would change so much. So many amazing songs got left out and didn't deserve to. The Top tier would probably still be the same however.

Well PeachesEnRegalia you seemed to have put in some effort into this. At some point I'd like to take the time
to see where you are coming from. Considering I normally have little to no appreciation for Best Of Lists
or as you put it Top 60 I think I can tell by briefly looking that at least yo have some form of critical analysis behind what you were thinking over a period of time.

Keep on enjoying Zappa's Canon but over time I would not be surprised if you yourself will decide that your opinion is flexible
and that your 60 would not be carved in stone.
