Great 21 odd minute version of Black Napkins, Franks excellent solo reaches a sensitive passage around 12 minutes in and several audience members can be heard whistling loudly, Frank stops playing and says "now why are you making noise in the middle of my guitar solo, I was playing so very nice, and I had just...Pinky was just sitting right over there on the side and, ok were in Berlin here we go, this is what you want" Frank then proceeds to shred loudly for another 8 odd minutes, successfully drowning out the whistlers.......

Another great FZ moment brought to you by bootlegs are us.

I love these bootlegs

Awesome. I love when artists stop in mid-song like that! :D

And today I'm listening to my all time favorite Mothers record, We're Only In It For The Money. Just simply never gets old. Ever.

Right now, a few minutes ago, I was listening to "Absolutely Free) 2012.
It might actually sound better than the vinyl. Seems like it has more "detail", as in extended high end without being too bright, than I remember.
I'm gonna spin the LP tomorrow and do a little comparison.
I really could do without the two additional tunes between the sides. I'll never get used to that.

Just about to start on WeaelsRippedMyFlesh - 2012.
If I don't doze off I'll go back and compare the vinyl AF with the new CD and the Ryko CD, FWIW.

Just discovered Crush All Boxes, found a really good quality download (wish they would release it but suppose its very limited appeal but i would buy it), i always did like YAWYI but the sound here is so much better, can hear the drumming really clearly and lots of nice touches that were lost on the official release, cant stop listening to this for the past week.
