Those that like to ponder the title of the forthcoming
4Tieth Anniversary Project/Object Audio Documentary
Cruising With Ruben & The Jets.

As stated I cast my VOTE for
RUBEN'S SHOES
and yet but also
RUBEN'S HAIR POMADE

Then again there may be plenty of CLUES
on the Original Album, Old Masters,
The Story of Ruben & The Jets,
FZ Vocal version of Valerie
and but also quite possibly visually including,
yes the packaging,
some permutation of Cal Schenkel's 1968 Zappa Log Cabin adventures.

Yes. I've heard the news. Just having fun and I really can't afford new shoes right now. Good thing it's only a single disc I might be able to spring for that.

RUBEN'S HAIR POMADE

I concur, Roy is one talented Falsetto Pachuco.
I had the pleasure of singing arm in arm with him several years back.
Sort of a bar stool harmonic duo of Uncle Meat Variations done purely for our amusement purposes.
I don't know maybe Donna Ya Wanna heard a bar or two.

Last I heard Roy had some unfortunate troubles I rather would not expand upon.
In The Sky would be a welcomed treat.
I've seen that BBC performance from 1968 one on Youtube
and hopefully that will one day get an Official Release
where the Audio is restored.

Oh In The Sky on Color Me Pop 1968 is a masterpiece.
Just how Frank introduces that piece
with his commentary on the BBC letting them do things their
that US TV would never let happen in the United States,
directly followed by the conducting ques,
FZ wearing that blue bandanna, It's priceless.
Roy sending out a Pachuco tribute.....................

Stuffing up Ruben

Cheap Thrill (since it's a single disc, let's hope for a relatively low price!)

If it's one disc, can they fit both the original mix and the 80's mix on one disc, not to mention any extras? Somethings gotta give. If we're lucky they'll let the 80's version reside with Ryko.

you know i ran in to Mr. Estrada several times last year. he ate at the restaurant i worked at. At least a year ago he seemed great. Signed my Freak Out! Was excited about the grande-mothers. We even exchanged e-mails once in awhile. Then he just kind of disappeared. Great guy. Hope all is well with him. Can't wait for this release.

Trendmonger felt he should bring it up, then go all "mysterious" about it...HE should be the one to explain it, or else STFU about it.
