I don't know about everybody else, but I'm REALLY ready for a new FZ release. Lumpy Money, as great as it is, seems like it came out years ago! I don't even care what they release, just as long as something comes out soon.

Maybe when ZPZ's US tour starts? Here's hoping!

I could go for one new release a week. (Really one a day but lets not make it too crazy)

Another live release would suit me fine, 'specially one from '75 or '78-'79. Or that Ruben thing that everyone was jizzing about way back when...

I am always ready. I try my best not to get overwhelmed by the fanatical want
but what comes to mind are some obvious Anniversary celebrations
of Cruising With Ruben & The Jets and Joe's Garage.

I really think a Joe's Garage Celebration project will show that one does not always have to wait 40 years
to celebrate with a ZFT release but be it the above two mentioned or something that shows up
totally unexpectedly such as a full concert from any given tour, why not a 79' Euro Human Juke Box show fro example,
whatever comes I am sure to enjoy that.

Besides the obvious Roxy, Rage/Fury, Dance Me This, Lost Episodes II ect ect ect, and the fact that I haven't purchased either Birthday Bundle, Mothermania or BTB III because downloads are the only available options, I'm always ready for any CD and/or DVD release.

January 21, 2009--The Lumpy Money Project/Object
December 21, 2008--The Frank Zappa AAAFNRAAA Birthday Bundle
September 26, 2008--Joe's Menage
June 13, 2008--One Shot Deal
May 29, 2008--The Torture Never Stops

last year they had releases every couple/few months! this year is a bit slacking, even considering lumpy money was originally supposed to be out last november. which means technically no new releases this year! (besides mothermania and btb3 which is not new)

If they want to wait until payday that would be OK. Really, it's too bad they don't have a Zappa punch card where after every 10 purchases you get a free item. I'd be in pretty good shape right now with all the product I've purchased over the last 35 years. Christmas presents for everybody!

. Dance Me This

. Joe's Mirage (The 15-years-of-the-album-that-never-happened-celebration of Dance me This)

. Joe's Garage 30 Box

. Lumpy Money Act II (The Outtakes)

Wait, that's only 4 releases for 2009, with 5 to 8 announced there's still room for:

. Uncle Meat (DVD)

. The Thomas Nordegg Tapes aka The Guitar feature-length Video (DVD)

. The Henning Lohner Tapes 1989 - 92 (DVD)

. that L.A. joint, December 1973 DVD, forgot its name 8)

Aren't we in 2009? Then, two releases in fact: Moum & Mohr. Enough said.

I agree.
However, if there are plans to commemorate UM and HR, it may be a while unless Joe Travers prepared something before he went out on tour.
