I don't own Sleepdirt cos I have Lather.<br><br>Lather seems to contin all of Studio Tan and some of Live in new york.<br><br>Am I missing much of sleep dirt's material?<br><br>I just downloaded sleepdirt/The Ocian ITUS - sleepdirt ends suddenly with frank saying, 'fingers got stuck', is this from the sleepdirt album? I never heard this before!

Indeed, I shall get it one day however, money is tight & if I already have most of the album in the form of Lather then I would go for something like Oz or the new DVD which I do not have yet.

Hey Ringo, fyi the original vinyl version of SD was completely instrumental, ie, the vocals by Thana Harris that appear on the cd version were added by FZ later on...this has been discussed and debated elsewhere in the forum, but my SD version of choice has always been that of the original vinyl...unfortunately, though, I don't have a turntable and I never made a cassette tape, so I CAN'T LISTEN TO IT!

My Lather doesn't have the title track "Sleep Dirt."  Hearing that tune alone is worth getting the whole SD album IMHO.<br><br>VCF

My first bought FZ album was Sleep Dirt Vinyl 1979 was already a fan of Zappa music for a couple of years,. I just loved this superb piece of work, recently bought the cd and loved it too but recorded the old vinyl on cd, bought lather too and its all there too.
