I would buy this on CD, but I don't purchase digital downloads. I hope they produce a physical CD version someday soon so I can hear it!

Well, I enjoyed it! It was amusing. Frank plays a killer version of PiB followed by an extremely long, detailed history of the Muthers ([sic] on purpose) accompanied by the band. :smoke:

Yup. I'm not head-over-heels but I view it more as a "I'm glad one more item fell out of the vault" release. There are certainly parts that make me chuckle and Frank's solo on PiB is bitchen. Take it for what it's worth....

'Recorded at Auditorium Theater, Chicago, Illinois at the stroke of midnight on the Day of
The Mothers, 10 May 1974'

However:

May 10th was a Friday; Mothers Day was actually May 12th and the FZ giglist confirms two shows in Chicago on Saturday, May 11 so I am assuming that this is actually from the late show on the 11th.

Me too. It's cheaper than a full CD and I want to hear new stuff from the Roxy era.

I'll wait for someone to send it to me. Or for someone to put it up on Youtube....which will happen. I will not buy it. Sorry gail.

Put it on plastic in a nice little square cardboard slipcase and i'll fork over the cash.

The only thing that pisses me off is an iTunes thing. I just paid $11.99AU for this little sucker at a time when the Australian dollar is worth more than the US dollar.

Yeah, It's probably from the 11th. It's not the same penguin as on [1974 05 10 - IMA Auditorium, Flint, MI
100 min, Aud, B+]. And since FZ waits with the nostalgia until midnight, when the 11th become the 12th, Late show 11th is probably it!

Nooooo! Why did they fade it??? They could have at least gotten us a complete jam.

Well, all in all. Great solos, funny story. A tad expensive but what the hey.
