Looks like Eddie loves America quite a lot too. Am I the only one who nearly vomited when hearing the last track on this latest of the Ed Palermo Big Band offerings?

I've imported this CD and deleted the last track. What remains is pretty darn good.

I did not vomit, and I like the song , generally done by who ever does it. Like our national anthem........................................................... but that said Jimi's version is my favorite job on that tune ,I think Ed's version is tolerable; although I see no reason to listen to it every time I listen to the cd, so I to deleted the song when I ripped it.
All that aside this band is brilliant as are the arrangements, check out Ted Kooshian he is the keyboard player, has a band called standard orbit quartet, very good.

Which version? The studio version or one of the live ones? I like the 1970 LA Forum version the best.

Haven't heard the Palermo recording, but it says "America The Beautiful" on the cover.
I didn't know Jimi Hendrix did that. I know The Star Spangled Banner, studio and live.
