Philly 76 is not perfect, but it doesn't have to be - it's a good 1976 Zappa concert! Disc 1 is all enjoyable, disc 2 has at least four or five essential tracks. The last time I listened to it, I programmed like this: Black Napkins, Stranded in the Jungle, Find Her Finer, Muffin Man. Dynamite show!

anyone who still buys this garbage from the ZFT is a mindless tool. the mixes on almost every posthumous release are over compressed and not to mention over priced. the only people who would want an album mixed this way are 16 year olds listening to music through ipod earbuds...and lets be honest they aren't buying the 99th zappa release. and if for some weird reason they want to hear it they sure as shit aint gonna fucking pay 50 bucks for it, theyre going to download it. me? i wont even give odeon the time of fuckin day to bother wasting my bandwidth on another piece of shit from the ZFT.

I just got off the phone to my doc to go in and get my ears checked out. I don't hear any hissing or humming or below par sound quality with the ZFT live releases. WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?????

try duping the cd to a cassette, then hi-speed dupe to another cheap cassette. Sounds just like the old days!

Because of arseholes like you, Trendmonger - or "Trendy", as you call him - has a reason to exist.
