Oct 5: BOSTON

-Arrive in boston - by bus to holliday inn
-General meeting - initiation into the mothers of invention
-Rest of day wil be spent recovering from trip and getting to know each other.
-Arrange interview appointments with Barbara Scott and dicuss any special photographyyou might want taken by staff photographer, Bruce Weber.
If you want to do anyorganized sight-seeing in Boston, let Barbara Scott know.
-Morning free to sleepor go ight-seeing - depending on what youdid the night before.
-12:00 to 4:00 PM - Interview by appointment with Frank and the group in the hotel rooms at the holiday inn.
-4:15 PM - Leave hotel by bus to go to the music hall for sound check. (all journalists must attend this thrilling event as you are now Mothers Of Invention)
-After sound check return to hotel by bus for rest before concert, if you're lucky.
-You'll probably no get a chance to eat dinner so you can order food back stage. This is one of the fun things about being out on the road.
-There will be 2 shows in Boston - you have tickets for the first show which is at 8:00 PM. Departure time from the hotel will be given to you by Dick Barber after the sound check.
-During the 2nd show we recomment you to hang around back stage or if Frank invites you - you can go out on stage with the Mothers. We'll be sticking around for awhile after the concert to see what's happening - some may score, some may not.
-Bus will take you back to the hotel with o without companion.
-Morning free to sight-see or sleep - we definitey recommend sleep.
-2:00 to 6:00 PM - interviews by appointement with Frank and the Mothers ill take place in the hotel rooms at the Holida Inn
-8:00 PM - leav hotel by busfor dinner party at home of mr Larry Miller, 7 monument square, Charlestown. This party, aside fom being a bizarre event, will also include some films which Frank will show. These films are a documentary of the Mothers over the past years. This shoud run well into the night and prove to be a special show in itself.
Oct 8: NEW HAVEN
Holiday Inn Downtown

-Noon- leave for New Haven by bus
-Check into hotel
-3:30 PM - go to sound check at New Haven Arena
-Return by bus to hotel
-Here you are very lucky: time for dinner
-Dick Barber will advise departure time for the concert that night. There will be one show at 8:00 PM
-After concert usual hanging around and then back to hotel
Oct 9: SPRINGFIELD, Mass
Holiday Inn: Dwight and Congress Avenue
-11:00 AM leave by bus for Springfield
-Check into Holiday Inn
-3:30 PM - leave by bus for soundcheck at Smith College, John Green Hall
-Please note that we'll not be able to return to hotel before the concert so take whatever you might need with you
-Dinner - before concert somewhere near the College
-8:0 PM the concert starts
-Now for the best part - party after the show. Male members of the tour might be interested in knowing that this is an all girl college - so if you have been unlucky before, now is your chance.
Oct 10: NEW YORK CITY
Holiday In Coliseum
440 W; 57th Street
New York, NY
-Leave by bus at 11:00 AM for NYC.
-Check into holiday inn
-6:45 PM: all journalists will be escorted to Greenwich Village for dinner at the Village Gate and a show at the Bitter End to see Don McLean and Sandy Baron.
-After the show, you escorts will show you around the village or you can go out on your own.
-11:00 AM - there will be a special room at the hotel where you can go over the color stills from "200 Motels". All journalists will recieve sets of black and white stills.
-2:00 PM - Bus will leave for sound check at Carnegie Hall. ABC TV will be filming and interviewing Frank and the Mothers, and temporar Mothers Of Invention (that's you). This will be televised on Channel 7 this evening on the 6:00 PM news.
-After that there will be free time until the concert at Carnegie Hall.
-The bus will leave the hotel at 10:30 PM to Carnegie HAll. The concert begins at 11:00 PM. Please get your tickets from Barbara Scott.
-After the concert- see chat's happening and do whatever you want to do.
