Well, maybe they are according to the pre-orders. I ordered relatively late, on Halloween day :D (wasn't aware of the release before!) and got the highest number here on this page. Zut_boF and I live on the same part of the planet, got our orders one day apart, but his # is ~13000, mine is ~14600.

I seem to be the lowest at 11012.I believe I ordered the next day after it was anounced. If that makes any difference. :|

I pre-ordered within 30 minutes of getting the e-mail (#12778). They probably prepered local first, then national, then international.

I hope that even the customers who didn't preorder get tickets. I also hope that they announce the next release soon so I can COMBINE SHIPPING

This seems to confirm my assumption.

This seems to contradict my assumption.

(Unless doug got his e-mail late. I never received mine! Learned about the release elsewhere on the net.)

Possible...however, look who started the Carnegie thread. (When I composed the thread starter, no-one else had mentioned the new release, yet. (One other person posted while I typed mine.)

These two are the closest by number.frogfog says location-QC & myourself doesn't say where he/she is.The QC would be international, just wonder if myourself is too? This might help explain the sequence of ticket numbers and shipping but I'd bet they are most likely just random. Not that it makes a hell of alot of difference.

"Not that it makes a hell of alot of difference"

Maybe not, but hundreds of years from now some old weeze anthropologist will trip over one of these and spend countless hours researching this very topic.

Even if they are random, can anything truly be random?, There must be a minimum and a maximum value.

Why are anthropologist always old and weezey? They never find anything, they "trip" over it.I guess you need a diploma to analize what you tripped over.It seems they are very adept at tripping only over an important find. It's always a trip when they do analize a new find.Let's here it for the old and weezy anthropologist who finds my ticket. Here, here! 8)

But this is why I like physical releases. The names in the big MOFO, these tickets, the balloon in HO, the holographic think in Monkies, all these bits of geekiness are not available via download. I give GZ credit for realizing how hopelessly obsessive we are. 8)

I'm with you. I love all the small weird "unnecessary" stuff. Thanks Gail.
