In Italy they release his CD releases on vinyl but that only started recently since "Buffalo" was released in '07, has anyone seen earlier releases after Broadway the Hard Way (besides lather) and before Buffalo on vinyl ?

Yes, and they are all counterfeits:

But why would anyone get these?
Can you imagine what kind of processing these recordings have been through?

can't believe people would pay big bucks [or euros] for these unless they really think these are official zappa product; zft could produce it themselves as a beat the boot limited edition

Putting digital music on an analogue format is exactly the kind of thing people like Thom Yorke do to con the tragically hip retro crowd out of their money.

This is mine, a 1970's UK pressing on Verve/Polydor, gatefold as well. I also have a similar era pressing of Freak Out.

I listened to Greasy Love Songs and to be honest it's badly mastered in the way a lot of recent CD's are..

Vinyl all the way with this one.

Does state-of-the-art mastering involve heavy loudness plus digital clipping as well as being ranked 9/20 by the DR Database?
