I'm sure this post has been run countless times before, but as of February 18 2012, which albums do you have of his on ethenyl?
Mine:
ORIGINAL PRESSINGS:
-Overnite Sensation (Discreet)
-Apostrophe (Discreet)
-Bongo Fury (Discreet)
-Sheik Yerbouti (EMI/Capitol)
-You Are What You Is (Epic)

80'S RE-RELEASES:
-Hot Rats (Barking Pumpkin)
-Weasels Ripped My Flesh (Barking Pumpkin)
-Live at the Fillmore East (Reprise)
-Roxy and Elsewhere (Barking Pumpkin)
-One Size Fits All (Barking Pumpkin)

Mind you I'm a 21 year old Canadian kid, and I will have Grand Wazoo and Waka/Jawaka before spring, possibly an original pressing of Uncle Meat too.

When people here are saying "all of them" I assume they are saying all of them that were actually officially released on vinyl.

I have 37 vinyl FZ albums. I did at one time have all of them up until Broadway the Hard Way. I cannot fathom where the missing ones have gone. Soon after Broadway, I got myself a CD player and have not bought vinyl ever since.

I bought everything on vinyl before the age of CDs of course.

My first CD ever was DHBIM when it came out. I never bought anything on vinyl after the CD age started. The CD audio format technically is far superior to what a vinyl record can do (frequency range and dynamic range for instance). Unfortunately people started to ruin their already perfect masters sometimes when reworking them for CD reissues. Don't blame the CD format for those mistakes. Some people wrongly think that it is the analogue vinyl format that makes things sound better.

I've only started my Zappa vinyl collection last year and I already have covered pretty much everything from the main catalogue, apart from Them or Us, in one vinyl form or another... 8)

EDIT: Not quiet true, before my Zappa LP binge I had bought me a few in the late 90s: Meets the Mothers of Prevention (European version, brand new Brazilian LP), Metal Man Has Won His Wings (LP Boot), Tinsel Town (brand new Brazilian LP)and maybe Jazz from Hell (second hand Brazilian LP).

Got this one ?

Of course. Bought it from a delete bin, for $2.99, back in the '70s.

My vinyl:

Mothermania
One Size Fits All
Ship Arriving Too Late
Man from Utopia
Thing Fish
Baby Snakes (picture disc)
FZ Meets the MOP

I feel like there's another one I'm blanking on.

edit: ah yes, a few "unofficial" LPs, best not to mention them.

Yeah, I'm not really a Zappa vinyl collector. They're mostly things I bought before CDs became available.

But you know what they say about feet that have small vinyl collections...
