"I found the best sounding FOH mixes available from my archive and I focused on some of the songs that were featured for short periods on tour. Songs like, "Brown Shoes Don't Make It", "The Little House I Used To Live", "The Mammy Anthem", "I'm A Beautiful Guy". There are some tour staples added in there to balance it out but overall the collection is intended to display the depth and variety in my Dad's music and the broad capabilities of ZPZ".

Disc One:
1. Son Of Suzy Creamcheese
2. Brown Shoes Don't Make It
3. America Drinks & Goes Home
4. Florentine Pogen
5. Catholic Girls
6. I'm A Beautiful Guy
7. Beauty Knows No Pain
8. What's New In Baltimore?
9. You Didn't Try To Call Me
10. Road Ladies
11. Wild Love
12. Yo Mama

Disc Two:
1. Cletus Awreetus-Awrightus
2. Easy Meat
3. Little House I Used To Live In
4/5. Latex Solar Beef / Willie The Pimp
6. Fifty-Fifty
7. Lucille Has Messed My Mind Up
8. City Of Tiny Lites
9. The Mammy Anthem
10. Keep It Greasey
11. Titties & Beer
12. Son Of Mr Green Genes

That's quite a nice setlist, but I'm not shelling out $30 for it. I don't care how amazing the sound is. Will pay that easily for a 2-CD Vaulternative set from Frank, but not ZPZ.
It just doesn't make any sense. So far this looks like an internet/one-store only release just like "In The Moment", which I've also avoided. I wonder how many they think they'll sell. The last one "Return of The Son Of... was half that price, how do they justify charging this much now?

To be honest I just don't listen to ZPZ on album that much, but enjoy seeing them. For the first release, I have the 3-CD/2-DVD set. It's a great document, but I'd rather listen to Frank's albums.

Ditto. Played the CD for the second time today and it just isn't as much fun to listen to as any FZ album. I'd sooner play Thing-Fish again.

It's just not that good of an album. The mixes are fairly bad for the most part, especially the vocals. Some of the performances are not as good a ZPZ's earlier efforts. I think these should be really inexpensive, or better yet, available for download for free on the site, or just there to listen to. I do like that they're doing more early stuff tho......

I don't know what to say, I went to the show in Sac Town last month and it was phenomenal, it was the best since Ray left…It actually crossed my mind that this was a band Frank would play with and that for all intent and purposes, they may be technically as good as any band Frank had. I still miss the variety show aspect that Franks concerts had, made them feel like one time events.

Attending a ZPZ show is a lot different from listening to a recording of one. I LOVE Dweezil and the band live! Not to mention that there are so few bands playing Frank's music live, that ZPZ is really the only band that comes around regularly. But as far as recordings of ZPZ, I'm starting to believe that I'll just wait for Dweezil to come around on tour. I'd much rather listen to FZ's original versions and only go with Dweezil live.
