I love that one FZ album that I got turned on to by hearing a clip on YouTube and rushing out and purchasing it.

That album was awesome!

I love that one posthumous FZ album that I can listen to from start to finish without having to adjust EQ settings, turn the bass frequencies way down, add high end, copy the thing to my harddrive, get rid of ridiculous fades by creating virtual segues, refold inserts and booklets hence the artwork is a piece of infantile %§##ish -- the one that I can get from a local seller (and don't need to trade in a 3-disc box by another artist for)

That album has to become awesome, too!

I'd argue that that affects you and your unyielding *need* for hearing superior sound at all times. I'd argue that the removal of all things Zappa from the "Interweb-nets" is affecting not only the current FZ fanbase but potential new recruits as well! :smoke:

I guess they told them to take it down because they felt it sounded so bad on youtube! Moo-Ahhhh! Honest, on a first survey, I can't see it has all gone, Penguin -- Err, what is it exactly that's not there anymore? What do you miss?

I've received numerous complaints from others that they've received sudden notice of the removal of their FZ and FZ-related videos. I also know someone else heavily involved with all things Zappa that keeps getting contacted by others complaining about the same exact thing.

Sad thing to hear, Penguin. It's been a while since I spent a weekend over there at Youtube's.

Here's a quick case-in-point from an article posted a while back:
