does anyone know of a place where I can go online to buy the whole lot? I'm looking for a reputable source, and I want to make sure I get the new CDs, not some old shelf stock...

Thanks,
Mike

You don't say where you are. If you can't buy from Best Buy, go to amazon.com, do a zappa music search, make sure you only select CDs that have release dates for the latter half of 2012 and refer to universal music.

From where I am (Germany) I usually order from them: http://www.jpc.de/jpcng/poprock/search/-/lang/en/currency/EUR/fastsearch/Zappa/rubric/poprock/pd_orderby/score

They will deliver anything that is in stock in one or two days over here. BTW, they deliver worldwide.

Is that something to be sorry about - a "socially retarded area" perhaps?

I did hold them in my hands today (all except fillmore and chunga)! Saturn Hansa/Frankfurt/Fatherland/planet earth has them on store!
Each title costs 15.99€, forgot to look at the price of uncle meat. Each one has a clear information about the used source tape on the back of the package that is printed in a different colour than the rest of the text. I am actually hesitating to buy the same albums again that i already have.

Ouch, that's expensive.

None of these are like what we had before, none of these are just reprints. That's the whole point. Note my comments above about Uncle Meat above for example. In the following picture, the Universal Uncle Meat is at the top. You can see the screech at the beginning of the Ryko one at the bottom.

Poly, u must not mark ur favourite pieces by encraving crosses on the discs surface!!!
But seriously, u r completeley right, of course. But a different mix (which means original vinyl mix, previously not available on CD) has much more priority for me than the same mix again with just some (more or less) slighltly fixes of technical issues. Especially if u consider that i don't have that kind of golden ears 2 find out those problems by myself (i never had a problem with those so called bad batch CDs for instance).
The currency rate or 1€ is actally 1.23$. If i just bought the restored vinyl versions it would be quite a lot of money for me. But on the other side i am an addict...

I used Best Buy. Best price and free shipping. Arrived in Washington DC in a few short days. UPS is the only option though, i think.

Yes.... keep in mind that although some are the same mix as the Rykos they are NEW transfers. This is a good thing no matter what!

I am kind of confused about the remixes of some of these albums (as I am a new fan), what are the differences?
