Does anyone know if there are new/recent reissues of this Australian version ? It's not listed as a reissue but surely can't be a mint and unplayed original ? I've checked Zappa Album Guide and the details, artwork etc match the, probably, 1968 Australian release. I'm aware that there are legitimate Verve Velvet Underground Banana reissues available in UK but have heard/seen nothing of similar Frank stuff. At the price i ordered it anyway but seller was vague about where he had sourced it !

looks legit; the seller also lists the same item on ebay, he's sold 15 copies since april-03 at £12.99, all mint & unplayed, excellent price for a mono af; either he's got a box of counterfeit lps [none listed in grand zappa], or he somehow got his stinky hands on an entire box of verve single-sleeve aussie mono 1st pressings from '68 or '67

Seller has now relisted as 2012 ltd repress .

I'm no expert on all this repress/reissue stuff, so does this mean it is a legitimate/non legitimate, legal/ not legal etc, copy of this LP. I'm assuming verve has nothing to do with the repressing ?

No reason to believe this is legitimate - and I've seen bootleg reprints of all the Verve albums in second hand shops.
