Did ya'll ever stop to think that maybe the ZFT is trying to teach you that attachment leads to disappointment. Once that lesson is learned, you will realize that the RBP exist within you.

You should be thanking them for the lesson!!!!

To me the credibility of ZFT dwindled years ago. But I guess my partial lost excitement is also because of time passing. I know all of Frank's output by heart, so I don't actually listen so often to his records anymore. They are already in me.

It is nice when new stuff is released, but honestly, it is not really new to me. It is all variations over well-known themes (also literally). So to me, buying a new release and listening to it is a nostalgic thing that brings back memories about the 1970s/1980s where any new release was met with increased heart rate, stomach aches and adrenalin rushes. The music is rarely at par with the stuff Frank released. But it is nice to get a new CD, and I think most of what has come out are of highest possible standards.

So I will buy RBP when it arrives, but I will never ever preorder anything, when it means that I lend the supplier money. And I am even still waiting out on Road Tapes 2 as I decided to bundle it with RBP when it emerges. I mean it is 40 years old - I can wait another year if that becomes the case. If it never comes, my life goes on unchanged. I gave up on the movie long time ago, so if it suddenly arrives, I will treat it as a pleasant surprise.

If they could just be honest about it. If they lack the funds, then tell us, and try raise them through some other means like crowdfunding. Then the cards are on the table, and I would happily chip in. Now it is just cloudy and unclear. That is probably the worst. I know they don't "owe" us any explanations, but I think it would be good for their costumer relationships to be a bit more communicative. In particular since they are dealing with niche products.

For the most-part, I agree with what you wrote. But I do feel if you pre-ordered RBP you deserve an explanation as to why it is not shipping when they said.

If you were so inclined I am sure at this point you could ask for a refund... :smoke:

I think what bugs me is Gail saying things like "look to the skies" and "...when the frost is on the pumpkin" and such jibber-jabber.
She's basically telling us she doesn't know either.
She should just say that then.

What would really help is if Joe would speak out.
He at least has credibility.
He understands the fans.......he is one.

Gail can get her cards read and look into the tea leaves or whatever the fuck she does and disappear behind the curtain.
August 1st 2013 was my pre-order!!

Good Question. I think the whole idea of preordering is that you give them your money in order to be the first to get the product.
Anyone know like, fer sure, fer sure though? :?

I ask because I have ordered things with a credit card and most of the time the card isn't charged if the Item is back ordered, it would seem that the card number alone would give you dibbs if that is part of the agreement. Recently I ordered multiple items from a store one item was back ordered ,they e mailed telling me and that when the item came in , then they would charge the card and ship free, for the inconvenience believe it is not legal to charge the card on a back order without first signing an agreement, usually small print, and or implied.

So you think they thought the world would end on FZ's birthday 12/21/13? So they didn't bother to finish anything and now that the Mayan Calendar is wrong, they're rushing to catch up. Is that the deal?

Dear People of Earth,

Suddenly for every Roxy reason possible it seemed imperative to make the actual Roxy By Proxy release truly special by offering this exceptionally entertaining audio aperitif. For those of you that ordered the Roxy By Proxy all those eons ago and even up til now, you can land Joe’s Camouflage at a discount. Keep an eye on your email inboxes. Details will follow.

Roxy By Proxy begins shipping on or around Valentine’s Day. Yes it does!

xxx,

the barfies

Exactly why they called it camouflage! They're trying to hide the fact that RBP announcement cycle is an embarrassment.

I have, and am. Doesn't make me follow this (in some parts of Europe, I guess many doesn't). Do I miss out on something there?

BTW, I could see from the uninformative wiki-link that the date varies according to faith. Probably that is appropriate in this application.

Valentine's day here is Feb 14th.
Traditionally a great day for florists and confectionary suppliers, there is also anecdotal evidence locally that there is a spike in condom sales....So yes HJ you could be missing out on a little something
