I've always heard of Frank's enormous record collection. Has anyone documented any of it or are there any photos of the collection? I can't seem to find any really good info on it. I'm just imagining another vault full of nothing but 45's...

I guess it's got a dimension of shoe boxes full of 45's, rather than archives,
can't remember where I read or heard about it, though --
Could it be that the 1992/93 BBC Late Show special shed some light on that issue,
or the 'unreleased' 1991 interview that surfaced on youtube a few years ago,
in 5 parts ??

That said, it's most likely 500 shoeboxes full of 7''s, and I'm totally wrong on this
account, either....

Imagine all the crazy Indian and Arab classical and traditional music LPs Frank must have gathered throughout his live.

A detailed listing of those would indeed make a phantastic section at
zappa.com -- and a no-less-than-revelatory one, that's for sure --

Just imagine all these little covers 'n matrix numbers 'n stuff... 8)

Though it wouldn't turn out and look anything like this, I believe:

Here's a picture of my CDs :
http://maroual.blogspot.com/

Then by clicking on an album you get more info.

It is just a subset and I did not have time to do it with my vinyl records.

Buffalo Voice, I was thinking the same thing. On top of being an all around interesting list of records to check out, I bet it would shed some new light on CC clues.

I would guess he had quite an extensive collection of classical music.

Box set? You're once again spilling nonsense all over this place, cleon, he hadn't even enough
money to buy EMS 401 alone, at that time (the shop-owner practically chucked it out for what I think was
$1.98, because he thought the thing totally unsaleable...)

Diva has today posted a photo ( on Twitter?) showing 11 boxes of LP's which I estimate to be about 600 albums. I assume that this a fraction of his collection. I saw it on Zappateers facebook page.
