How childish. Being that I have been a user here far longer than DZW you might want to consider some other options, and but also, being that I breathe the same air from the same earth's atmosphere you might want to consider other options for your air supply.

Well, Trendy even Hitler breathed the same air as I do - I still don't fancy posting on the same forum as him.

Twice in the last 1/2 hour on Zappa Radio
Frank Zappa
Reeny Ra [4:13]
Joe's Camouflage

Now That's Heavy Duty Rotation

Ironically the next track was
Frank Zappa
Strictly Genteel [6:57]
You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore Vol. 6

CAUTION: This Zappa fan can be heard yelling "Zappa" at the end of the track.
Folks that have a hard time occupying the same space and time as me may want to recosider their listening habbits with that one.

Nor do I care to visit the Hitler domains, Polidigm's reasoning was quite childish though. Specially since I've been here since August of 2002.

This has taken a bit of detective work on my behalf to work out what the fuck is going on here. But, for any newbies (like me), this thread is a good one to bone up on.

Trendy is clearly mentally ill.

The best solution is to simply ignore him and find compassion for him that he finds the medical help he truly needs.

For those so-called fans that again and again try to bring up their me-quotient way above what Frank Zappa intended, I can only say that they should listen to the music instead. Only then will these so-called fans get the correct insight to the conceptual continuity of the work of Frank Zappa. But in these greasy days they spend too much time on nurturing their me-quotient. Give Roxy by Proxy a spin when it will exist in this world. That will be my habbit!

I have a few habbits. I keep them in a cage behind the house.

As for Camouflage, it is worth the price for Any Downers? The argument could be made about the self indulgent tracks. But as I listened to Disc 1 of Stage 5 this morning, I was reminded of how Frank always included some of those moments into his releases as well.

Listening to it now. Wow....this is some excellent stuff!
A shame this band never got past the rehearsal stage.

Suddenly for every Roxy reason possible it seemed like a friendly thing to let people know that Roxy By Proxy is making it's way through the Camoufalged Polar Vortex Paterns. All kidding aside, just got off the phone with Music Today, no need to quote the friendly customer service rep, while I don't expect my pre-order to ship today, for some things seem to be getting warmer. Good luck and good will to everyone that is awaiting their pre-order.

It was a pre-order about 3 months ago, now it is, what, a post-order? Well, I trust Trendy about as much as I'd trust a dog with diarrhea, so I called. Yes, RBP is in the warehouse (aka polar vortex?) ! The guy hinted that there would be some kind of delay, so that's probably why Trendy was so casual about them not shipping today. But, it does seem likely that it will ship this week. Hooray! :)

I hope this isnt a repeat of when I purchased Soft Machine's BBC 71 cd back in 1993 and it ended up being Peter Frampton on the disc instead. :O

They misspelled her name in the booklet. It is Novi Novog.

There's Good News and Confusing News.

The Confusing News - Yesterday when I called, they said that the product was in the warehouse waiting to ship. Today, they guy said that the product was definitely NOT in the warehouse yesterday, rather supposed to arrive today. Hmmm

The Good News - The guy on the phone said that it should be in the warehouse now and I should get a shipping notice tomorrow.

Did there happen to be any mention of Camoufalged Polar Vortex Paterns?

That's an awful lot of "shoulds."
If you try to pre-order now, it still says, "on or around Feb. 21." I guess someone needs to update that to Feb. 28. Or...whatnot.

Yeah, a lot of shoulds. Sometimes, the person on the phone sounds optimistic, but the guy today just sounded beat up from dealing with this.
And.... no mention of Camoufalged Polar Vortex Paterns, completely left out of the conversation, if you can believe it!
