it took a relisting (with a $600 dollar price drop), a bill-me-later plan, and a lot of begging... I'll post pictures and clips on the forum when I get it.

I got the two day shipping on RBP but it takes 3 and that's a sunday. Oh well... Monday is going to be awesome.

Sounds like you have some excellent negotiating skills there Heavy G, maybe the Middle East could use your help

I got my notice yesterday as well. As of last night though, no shipping info available with the tracking number, but at least it is some progress. Order it last fucking August!

So it looks like five of the tracks - Penguin in Bondage, Village of the Sun, Echidna's Arf, Don't You Ever Wash That Thing and Cheepnis - are songs that were included on the original Roxy album. Given the ZFT penchant for repackaging and reselling previously released material (see Finer Moments, for example), can someone confirm that these are different versions of those songs? Many thanks.

On R&E parts of "Penguin" are from May 1974 and parts of "Cheepnis" are from the studio, and Village, Echinda's and Don't seem to have substantial amounts of overdubs.

There are substantial liner notes in the booklet, a la Ruth. I haven't read them all yet. She describes this Village as the 2nd of the 3 versions during her tenure. I am hearing bits here and there that sound like the original R&E, but so far everything is plenty unique.

Many pics of the band?

Any mention of (God do I bring it up?) the DVD?

Release # 99?

No. A few posed pics, film-strip-style. A few more with Ruth and Bruce. Lots of Ruth's face.

No.

Yep.

Interesting. So I guess the Road Tapes version is the first and the YCDTOSA 2 is the third.
