I have the enthusiasm you guys have for Zappa. Wish I had the knowledge about him though. I just don't have any luck with iTunes. I'm not a computer genius, but I'm not a dummy either. Or, maybe that means I am. :?: :|

Of course not! Learn how to count. They are #100 and #101.

Wonder if there are any release plans for 2015 Mothers Day?

I just downloaded this. It says it's from Tinsel Town Rebellion, just sounds like a different mix/cut of it.

Yes, odd that. From an entirely different location/show.

It is the all fast tempo version of "Pick Me I'm Clean" you may have heard on the broadcast bootlegs from Rotterdam and some other 1980 shows, and of course Logeman rather than Colaiuta on drums makes a difference.

The fade-out is super-ugly. Otherwise awesome. My guess is this was considered for inclusion on TTR but then the other version was chosen instead.

I paid for and tried downloading this shit, but couldn't get past the Java installments... Oh, well - I hereby donate $1.50 to the ZFT and continue my analog life without ODDs...

The key thing with the Java situation is to find out how your particular system manages permissions for Java apps. There have been so many security issues with Java apps in recent years that typical operating systems have made it very difficult to allow them to do their thing. I'm a Mac person and the last time I bought downloads from Barfko I had a hell of a time forcing my computer to allow the downloads - I had to dig in deep to find out just where to make the appropriate settings to allow the downloads to be written to disk. You can usually get a lot of good advice via Google on how to do these things.

I use Chrome as my browser. It never works with these Barfco downloads. But...if I close it down, and open Windows Explorer, it downloads with no problems.

What a HOT version of PMIC BTW and the solo is longer than what's on the KBFH version. The fade out at the end is kinda dumb. No reason to do that.

I had to use another browser too, but it did download...used to be the worst hazard you faced with a new record was a paper cut on the open edge of the cardboard sleeve :smoke:

It did download through Windows Explorer - thanks again, just plain doug :)

It's cool to have an official track from this tour, since it was the first Zappa tour I saw. Frank's guitar playing blew me away that night in Drammenshallen --

Logeman's on fire throughout. Excellent drumming. I always thought he was pretty underrated.

I've always loved his drumming. He had a weird quirky style with very tasty unique hi-hat work.

YAWYI wouldn't be the same if he didn't play on it.

Great solo - and Arthur Barrow always shines with Logeman; he has more space there than with Colaiuta.
