Strange happenings today when I went CD shopping - I went to two separate CD shops in the huge 'monument to consumerism' mall where I work. In the first shop I attempted to buy 'Strictly Genteel' ( so I could play it while I'm at work). The case was on the shelf, but when I took it up to the counter, after 5 minutes of searching, the clerk said 'sorry, can't find that one - don't know what's happened to it..' So no 'Strictly Genteel'. Next CD shop, found 'Perfect Stranger' and 'M.O.P' in the sale rack - nice one - but.... same story - the guy behind the counter couldn't find the CD for 'Perfect..' - no classical Zappa for me. What's going on? Are Dark forces at work here? Well I sure feel better having shared that story - and the customers in the shop are just going to have to listen to 'Cheap Thrills'! ;D
