Something that just occurred to me while listening to act two of 'Civilization'... is 'actor Michael Rappaport' acting like a jerk on FZ's instructions, or is he acting like a jerk because he is in fact, a jerk? What an impolite, confrontational, aggressive guy! I tell ya, he's bottom of my list of guys to be trapped in a piano with!

He's not a musician, he was one of the new 'piano people', along with Moon Unit and others. I've never heard of him before or since, my initial posting was just based on having listened to the album, and he just comes across as being pushy and aggressive. I just wondered why he would be like that, ie did Frank ask him to 'talk smack' to the other guys in the piano? If so, why? All the original piano inhabitants on 'Lumpy Gravy' seemed pretty laid back.

Just thought of the name (Rappaport could be a german name too). And I could not take a look at the booklet, so I didn`t know what he was about, his "aggressiveness".

I should imagine, going by his general manner of character / speech on CP3, that it isnt merely him being an asshole. I get the impression that the " new " voices on Disc 2 were put together the same way the original piano people were back in the 60s. I could be wrong, of course, but........
