Question about the You Cant Do That On Stage Anymore records. Are they compilations - or are they differing live versions other than the ones that are listed on the normal 'studio' albums?
hope that made sense, thanks.

Which is the only one with one band (the roxy band)
And the live versions of the songs do not appear on the other zappa records.
buy them....there's to much special stuff on them to be ignored

I have all six. They are really worth buying. It's strange how songs are cut midway through from different performances, and you can miss it happen. It's strange how songs flow from one to the other seamlessly, when the only common musician is Zappa himself and there are 10 years between the recordings. Very good material.
I can't wait to get my hands on my first YCDTOSA album. I think what i'll do is first buy all the 20 some albums i REALLY want, then get the YCDTOSA cd's as kind of a 'reward' for filling my Zappa quota! ;D
er since when was only 20 a quota? Shame on you, get the lot!!!
;D

Thats a cool way to get YCDTOSA, get all the other albums first, then buy them, so you can really appreciate the live versions.......

Couldnt tell ya mate. All my YCDTOSA are Zappa Records versions, in the double cases rather than the slim - line ones.............

I doubt it though, apart from a little remastering brush up...
