The thread continue to move :D

yet there is nearly nothing that I haven't heard of. ;D

now, time for an album recommended by me:

Image
Joe strummer(& the mescaleros) - Streetcore

Ok, then, this guys last album. Bought it today but anyway. Not really an London calling, but this will satisfy even them who don't know about Mr Strummer aswell as those that do know about him. Just to note in the liner notes is that it stands "to Captain Beefheart" and even more. This album is sure worth checking up.

"Ok, thats a take"

-/dr_grogg

i like reviewing albums, so i'm gonna do a half-assed one on Streetcore, there.

don't buy it expecting Global A Go-Go 2, or anything like that. it's a far cry. definitely a lot more rock-'n'-roll this time around. either way, this is a fine album made up of fine songs, written by a fine man.
i give it a 8.5/10.

Image
Aphex twin-26 mixes for cash

This album is a must have, ok, you might not be an person that likes techno or anything like that but this will actually make you think different about it. This is beautiful and, in fact, some tracks are his originals but the ones he made the "remixes" for where dumb enough to belive it where remixes. Worth checking out.

-/dr_grogg

ImageandImage both by SLAM
anyone who is serious about techno has to listen to SLAM...they've been at the of forefront underground techno and tech/house for the past 10 years....simply brilliant. I've been going to see them live for over 10 years now and each time is an unforgettable experience.

Hmmm, seem like I've found a bit of a, uh, "new friend" in you "Scrute".

I do also low Electronica, techno and all that it has. ;)

Image
Aphex twin - Selected ambient works 85-93

It is so unscribable and beatiful that you HAVE to listen to it to understand it greatness. If you like i can give you a list of some underground techno acts i think you might like as i said some of their stuff can be pretty severe but excellent ;D
