Picture discs were a major fad in the mid-80's, designed to capitalize on obsessive fans' need to own everything by their favorite artists. Just put out, 'cause some schmuck will buy it.

Baby Snakes was not intended to be a full-fledged release, but when Ryko bought the rights to the catalogue, they wisely offered everything they possibly could.

How could I go about ripping the soundtrack from Baby Snakes and putting it onto CD?

The guitar solo and vamp blow me away, every time. [/quote]

Yes!! The version of PW that's on the soundtrack is a mother fucker alright! In my top 10.
Don't forget... the version on the LP/CD is a totally differant version then the one in the movie. Both totaly smoke but the one on the LP/CD is the one I favor more.
