Sunrise Records

"WE ARE A CANADIAN INDEPENDENT RECORD STORE.

In fact, thanks to our customers, we are the only Canadian-owned, independently operated record store chain left in all of Canada. We’ve been in your neighbourhood since 1977- playing and selling music and movies, buying used CDs and DVDs and getting loads of entertainment out into the community. We employ your neighbours, we support your local bands, we cater to the tastes of Ontario music-lovers."

Sorry, man.

Passed Best Buy tonight (Hendersonville) so I ran in and picked up the my first of the 2012 remasters. The manager matched the web price of $8.99 also. I don't think I have seen so many FZ titles in stock at Best Buy before; there must have been over 30 units out of the first 24 titles. Of course, no one in the store had ever heard of Zappa.

BTW, it does sound great. The bass reminds me of the vinyl.

I dunno, man. This is the "bought" thread. Wait until they turn up on the "listened to" thread!

While at McKay's today...
My "big ticket" item, I saw this marked scratched for $4.95. I couldn't resist, especially after after I reviewed disc 1 with my CD player at the store and the scratch started to smear when I rubbed it. I cleaned it off with eyeglasses cleaner once I got home. Just what I needed, a second copy! Image

After passing on BWS and YAWYI I picked up this one at Best Buy Rivergate last night for $9.99 plus tax ($10.93US), cheaper than Amazon. They had four racks full of FZ (but no UA), where the BB store near me has none.

A day late for my big 60 birthday, but just in time for the Apocalypse (and FZ's birthday).

Umm, I thought I was buying a 80's press release when actually I bought 2012 re-release. I don't mind, but just got confused.

LOOOOVE the packaging, booklets, CD design pictures! price? 30€ for both. not a deal, but I just had to buy a slim pack of Joe's Garage. Lost episodes was more of a birthday gift for my self (which is today :smoke: )

I didn't like that album, but after hearing 2012 remaster, I changed my mind.
