Picked this up cheap tonight at McKay because it was there, and I had traded my version away many years ago...

I've had these albums many times over in the last 40 years (and have seen them go away for various reasons) but I kind of hit a mini jackpot today at the local record store. All excellent condition vinyl.

200 Motels (including original poster and booklet)
Over-Nite Sensation
Bongo Fury
Zappa In New York
Joe's Garage Act I

I spent $63.00 total. How do you think I did? Do you think I should get the 200 Motels poster professionally framed or keep it with the album?

In related news while I was on vacation Saturday I got Tinseltown Rebellion in excellent condition except there is a cut-out notch cut into it. Also got bootleg vinyl called "Theatre Antique d'Orange". It's from a June 30, 1980 concert in France. Real nice album cover btw. This was the only Zappa line-up I saw live a couple of months earlier in Sacramento but with a very different set-list.

A good few days!

A good couple of days indeed KU, frame that poster!

I got mine professionally done, it's still pristine.....

Bought these four records at a store near my apartment. All original LP's and they sound great, way better than the later remixes (esp. on Chunga and ZiNY). The guy at the counter said he'd be getting four more FZ vinyls next week too!

Hi,

The Roxy DVD ... guess what ... the original album is way better!

It's nice to see the film itself, but the recording on the LP, is way better, cleaner and "lower" which makes it a bit heavier than what we saw on the dvd.

McKay weeks ago.

The Ryko version with all the digital reverb awash, before they replaced the master with the one from the Au20 CD.
I still want this one as it has the lyrics in the booklet where the 2012 UMe remaster does not.
cheap, real cheap.

since I got rid of my Rykodisc when I bought to UMe 2012 version. (I missed the bad editing)
