I'd say yes. 2013 marks the 25th anniversary of the 88 tour, and it would be sweet if we got a new release, similar to the original 3 albums, filled with all unreleased material that didn't make it to BTHW, TBBYNHIYL, and MAJNH. Can anyone name songs that haven't made it to official releases yet? I know the birthday bundles have 1-2 88 band tracks on each one, but it's just not enough.

Or

Would you prefer an entire show? Maybe on one of the future Road Tapes series?

A new 88 band album, a 73 show with JLP and Sal Marquez, Roxy By Proxy, and Dance Me This all need to come out this year. If that happened, I'm sure every Zappa fanatic would scoop those up faster than you could name all the release titles.

Yes, let's here it for another mammoth, brass plated, articulated, skill-endowned, mature, with not so strong tolerance for trolling humour and personality kind of a combo!

One of My Top 5 Zappa Line Ups!

It would be nice to have an official release of a whole show from '88, without cuts or excerpts from different nights edited together. 1988, warts and all. It was a ensemble of excellent musicians, a pity Ray White was not there too. A pity it was Frank's last tour. A pity they ended in a sea of inner tension. Isn't it a pity?

I'd rather prefer collection of yet unreleased songs from '88 tour. There were some songs which were played only once a tour, and I'd prefer hearing them over hearing same songs againt and again.

It would be nice to have an official, high-quality, up-to-date master of The Beatles parody medley: Norwegian Jim/Louisiana Hooker with Herpes/Texas Motel...

There's been half a dozen 88 tracks on the Birthday Bundles (see here: http://www.idiotbastard.com/FZ88discography.htm), and I too would like more of the unreleased material rather than a complete concert. But I'll take whatever they come up with. There have been hints that we're due more from this tour, so let's keep 'em crossed it'll be soon.

Meantime, there's always this: http://www.idiotbastard.com/OnBroadway.htm

Well, I know we need these songs (including the ones released on the Birthday Bundles, maybe versions from other shows?)

Peaches en Regalia
More Trouble Every Day (Euro version)
Bamboozled By Love
America The Beautiful
My Guitar Wants To Kill Your Mama
What's New In Baltimore
I Ain't Got No Heart
Disco Boy
Teenage Wind
Easy Meat
Stick Together
Love Of My Life
Willie The Pimp
Montana
Truck Driver Divorce
Lucille Has Messed My Mind Up
Pound For A Brown (especially that 14 minute from from February, forgot the exact date)
Texas Motel Medley
Yo Cats
Chana In Da Bushwop
Sharleena
The Illinois Enema Bandit
Confinement Loaf
Uncle Remus
Watermelon In Easter Hay

That's a lot of songs. I might have even forgot a few.
Definitely enough for a double CD, with maybe some repeats, but different, versions. I wouldn't mind another version of Big Swifty, Heavy Duty Judy, King Kong, and Dupree's Paradise for the extended improv sections.

I will happily buy every release from the 88 band. I love "Band Band", it's one of my favourite Zappa records.
