I think Mr Z missed the boat on this by not showcasing Roy Estrada on lead vocals. The crying bit in the song would have been perfect.

OT: Yeah I really like this song as much as I like Zappa's version. Roy would have been a great lead. Oh In The Sky is the only song I can think of where he does lead vocals. Maybe some stuff on WRMF you could say he does leads but its not really vocals... It's something else.

You need to check the version on Greasy Love Songs. It's more in the spirit of the original than the Burnt Weenie version.
