The tracks on Quadiophiliac would be so awesome to put on my iPod, yet, thanks to the DVD-A format, no go.

I was able to get mp3 tracks of the Halloween DVD-A, so I was able to put them on my iPod. Can anyone help me find similar mp3s for Quadiophiliac. I'm not trying to steal music or anything (I bought the DVD-A already), I just want to be able to use the music in all the ways I would be able to with a CD.

Please, ZFT- If you are going to release a DVD-A, put out of fucking CD of it also.

DVD-A- sounds great but too limiited to be a successful format.

i must say, as much as i like the music on halloween and quadiophiliac, i doubt i would buy another dvd-a release, unless, like the bob dylan 5.1 cds, it played on normal cd players too.

it's so frustrating to have great music and rarely have a chance to listen to it! and when i move out for college, my only dvd player will be a playstation... the sound quality is pretty abysmal on those things. my dvd-a's will be rather worthless to me at that point, and that saddens me greatly.

i own both quadiophiliac and halloween and would love to have the albums on mp3, i will take pictures of myself with the albums if it makes you believe me, but if anyone has mp3s of these two releases, i would be infinitely greatful to have them.

ooooohhhhhhhh.

You can use a legitimate, licensed program called Replay Radio. (No, I'm not with the company. Just a fan of the product.)

Replay records any sound that passes through your soundcard, so, asssuming you have a DVD drive on your PC or Mac, it's a very straightforward solution.

http://www.replay-radio.com/

If you're on a Mac, try WireTap from Ambrosia. They used to offer a freeware version, but seems like they only offer a "Pro" version for 20 bucks. :(

I tried Replay Radio and it records fine, but the audio is distorted. I turned down the volume on my sound card, but it made no difference. Any tips from someone who's using it?
