Dear cal,

Why does the phrase "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire" keep going through my head and it smells like Mt. Oysters? And it's only mid June?

Can't wait for Zappadan in California.

I once saw Kasparov and Bobby Fischer in a hotel lobby yelling at each other about who was the best. But those were just chess nuts boasting in an open foyer.

Anyhow, you do know that it's National Nut day where you live. Wherever that is.

Nice Booby Fishy joke. :D
In a nutshell, should I be worried about the nuts where I live or do we honor thine nuts today? :?

Like a scrotum, here it is in a nutshell: whatever nuts you have around.

That means don't go out the door around these parts.
I used to go out with Amy Knutt. She was very proud of being a Knutt. She was a little dingy too... I kinda' liked that! Could this be a problem later in life?

Possibly, if you keep obsessing over nuts.

Dear cal,

I live an hours drive from the beach but only 53 FT. above sea level. Should I be worried about climate change and the waters rising around us?

Forget the nuts, here comes da water!

If enough people are alerted to the fact that their diets contain too much nougat, then climate change will be solved within our lifetimes. If we live to 632.

Dear Cal,
The last time you lost your memory, what do you think you forgot?

I really don't forget stuff. All my friends here at the Coolio forum can attest to that.

Ok, I can't help but notice that you felt the need to include the word "really",
as if to "really" (sorry) drive your point home - crushing all and any doubt beneath your tires.
Some of us haven't even grabbed our car keys yet...
And there you are sitting in the driveway, revving your engine, and chugging a Genny Cream Ale tall boy.

Are you alright?

When it's someone as dreamy as Timothy James Curry, there is no cure.

But I'm not sure if you're talking about him.....I can't imagine he'd have a six pack. Oh well, either love them from afar or stalk them mercilessly and end up in jail.

Of course I'm alright. I don't know what you're going on about.

(If I don't make it, forward the microfilm to P. Brudge Smith, London)

Dear Calvin

How does one come back to reality after being out to good concert and a couple of wonderful days by the ocean?

I'm not in Cal's league, but I think it's safe to say that you don't. You just do it again.

Ok great, we can continue.

This isn't a request for advice. And I do not believe we are in a corner.
Well, that opens things up!

Do you have a dream pizza?
HOLD IT! Not a pizza that is late for school, or a pizza that you are fighting underwater.
Not even a pizza that has trouble with teeth falling out.

The pizza that I am referring to is your ideal pizza.
Hot (or cold, your choice!) and custom made to fit your taste buds.

If yes, what? If no, WHAT!? :/

You don't come back to reality. You stay in the fantasy world and eventually try to find the corner in the round room you're placed in.

This is not a lifestyle thread. If you want that kind of stuff go to the Entertainment Weekly site and find another intelligent, handsome guy who finds perfection in the plain old hamburger pizza from Valentino's.

As the engineer of the group, I'd say hire an assistant at .5 FTE.
