I received this for Xmas:

It's a VERY good read. The author is concise and not even remotely verbose, which is a nice change. I'm about halfway through it. Prince is one ultra-creative mofo...

After just finishing up my light christmas read the always hilarious King James Bible . Thanks to Ed Mann's recommendation I'm reading like many others here, Zappa The Hard Way, teeny tiny Tommy, urinating on super scary Scott and living to play another day......Yo Mama, I dunno.

I just finished it. An easy, really good read. You can tell he has some animosity towards Gene, and some crazy stories. Wish it would have covered more of the 200's reunion - farewell tours. Lots of stuff from the early days.

Oh yeah, I've read somewhere about the animosity towards Gene. Something about saying Gene was only in it for the money. (Which I suppose is a good phrase on this forum.)

The book recounts a successful 3500 mile journey from Peking, China to Kashmir, India in 1935.

Brother of Ian Fleming

the last days of john lennon … frederic seaman

frederic seaman was john lennon's 'personal assistant' for the last 20 months of lennon's life.
his book does not paint a very pretty picture of the lennon/ono household.
sympathetic to john, but very hostile to yoko.

well, we already knew, didn't we?
