What about strumming the balalaika?

This isn't about me, man. This is about you. You and your guilty pleasures.
Say what you need to liberate yourself. Feets has provided a platform for that here.

I enjoy being a crack whore.

uh-huh, that is, IF it's maintained in one way or the other: either a slavish attitude toward or controlled absence of . . .

This is even more embarrassing - I like that whole album. In fact, I get teary-eyed listening to "Freedom" sometimes.

I used to have the picture disc of that album. Although I only got it because the band I was in at the time was thinking of learning "Careless Whisper", which is sort of embarrassing in itself. We never did, but the picture LP only cost $5 used, so I picked it up. I don't have it any more.

That album brings me right back to my freshman year in high school (hence the teary-eyedness  ).

I love Take on Me by Aha. There I said it. Please don't tell my friends.

But it's for a solid musical reason I swear!!!! I love how they shift to half time for two bars in the chorus. Believe me, it's a technically innovative and brilliant pop track!!! I SWEAR!

That's the same reason I love that song!

Meat Loaf - Bat Out of Hell II was the first album I ever got. Lord knows how many times I played that C90 copy. It gets played maybe once a year now, and I still know all the words, sadly...

Alisha's Attic - Alisha Rules The World (the whole album!) is a mid-nineties forgotten pop classic, honestly!

(Keep Feeling) Fascination - The Human League is shamefully great, and the ability to listen to it while running people over in GTA - Vice City only adds to its appeal.

Linger - The Cranberries I can't help but adore, even knowing that they're oh-so wrong and everything else they ever did was utter bilge.

Oh, and there's this comedy smut-rock guy I listen to, he sings about yellow snow and poop chutes and golden showers and stuff

I don't think Bat out of Hell 2 should constitute a guilty pleasure. I mean it's not the greatest thing ever, but it does have musical merit!!!
