less claypool MORE ZPZ! Seeing your favorite band,second bill,on NYE,we'll don't expect no Roxy show!
I left my car in Bezerkeley,took BART (our metro) to SF.The mood on bart was very festive going into the city.Now here I am at the Civic Center with my freak flag flyin' and every time I ask were is the claypool/Zappa show,sho'nuff' they see long hair so I must be going to the Ratdog Phil Leash- Bob Wier gig,where I was politely givin' directions to.Several times.
So I hailed a cab,where he only went the other way around the Civic Center to drop me off! He said " ya just have to know how to get around the Hippies" I kid you not! Well,I was sharing a bowl with him and we were kinda laughing at the whole spectical of it!Nice guy,no charge,so I gave him 5$ for NYE brew!
Up the steps,tix still on sale,79$ flat no extra's charge! Then the beer line,yikes 7$ apiece, I grab 3 and find my seat,nobody but me around,on the middle isle ,no row in front either,so no one to stand infront of me! No one behind me then or during ZPZ too!
Tune in next time when ZPZ hits the stage!So sorry gotta go!

I hear ya. Back in the early eighties I attended a concert to see Rory Gallagher. He was the back up band to Cheap Trick. Rory played a 1 hr 20 minute set, one encore song, and then was hustled off to make room for Cheap Trick. Cheap fucking Trick! I was so pissed off I walked out before Cheap Trick finished their opening number.

I've always hated Cheap Trick ever since!

Still, I'm looking forward to the rest of your review.

So ZPZ comes out just as I have my!16x32 BARSKA,opera glasses in focus,and it was beautiful! OMG
With one eye I had SG and the other DZ,then I open both,wah- lah Ray White in between!Ha Ha my own picture show! I didn't move! It was fantassiicckktic! Really!Dweeze made the(lc)fans freeze in their tracks 'n' come back! But they lost focus with Billy to S. hop Bit.
I loved it! Priceless,but thats me.
So I"m waiting for the encore and all the l.c. fans hear us makin' noise,then cheering,so they come running in lookin for Less!Good-Lawdy,Miss clawdy! They got hypnotized by the Dweeze knee's,they got quite and into it more!
After ZPZ,we got alot of converts for FZ,but more for young DZ guitar&New Mothers!
