Somebody pointed out (maybe on the Ween Forum) that the crotch area seems to be airbrushed out. There does seem to be a whole lot of skin between the bellybutton and the bottom of the picture with no signs of the interesting zone.

Shown here, for the first time ever, is a Sales Presenter copy of the Butcher cover sleeve. It is similiar to, but trimmed larger than the LP sleeve in order to punch the holes for inclusion in the Sales Presenter.

This slick was acquired by Geoff Milne, who was in charge of the licensed labels division of London Records in England. On a business trip to New York he met some business acquaintances, one of which had been a sales rep for Capitol in 1966.

Explaining that he had an employee in England who was a "mad Beatles fan", he gave the sleeve to Mr. Milne who brought it back for his employee, who has kept it to this day. So far, it is the only know copy to surface.

i agree, milton, frazetta is pretty terrific! way back in the 70's, there was a van that used to tool around town that had that very cover painted on the sides. whoever owned it also had the "name" of his ride underneath the image....."prime evil"

Bill Cosby meets Frank Zappa meets Fred Flintstone meets Rob Halford -- it doesn't get any more badass than this.
