This is a new thread about librarians, people who fantasize about being a librarian or people who just like hanging around libraries.

I worked in my high school's library. When students in my class had an overdue book, I would intentionally misspell their names on the late slips, because the teacher would read out their names as spelled on the slips.
Yes, the library staff parties were BORING! At one, we played movie-title charades. I put "The Sweet Sins of Sexy Susan" into the hat, and the head librarian got it.
Couldn't act sexy to save his life! :D

I like getting a blowjob in the library. Next to the Ancient And Medieval History shelf.

When I was a student, I worked as a librarian at the University Library in the English Department. It was, perhaps, the easiest and nicest job I ever had. My main task was to read book reviews and then decide whether to order the books or not. The other tasks...
a) were returning the books to the shelves and putting them in their proper order, an ordering system that I still maintain with my own books today
b) reading the newspaper a bit more, unless somebody wanted to borrow a book. These were my pre-marriage days and I must say I managed to get know far more attractive young ladies through this job than I did visiting night clubs, bars or discos.

double guilty.

i have loved the lyberry since grade school.
back then it was called the LRC (learning & resource center).
i loved it.
we could only go on 1 day of the week.
i loved it...
the smell of old books. the anatomy mannequin that you could take apart and never get back together.
the librarian with the rubber thimble fingers.
the dewey decimal system (it even sounds fun!).

i put in an application at the library last year.
they couldn't hire me because i do not have a driver's license.
shucks.

also, guess how i obtained the privilege of listening to trout mask replica for the very first time.

He may not have gotten a library card, but by the end of the episode, he got the librarian. 8)
