I hope you enjoy it, Baddy!

I think this thread probably hasn't been getting too much attention because of the stupid title, which I have changed! Rejoice in the changed title!

Oh shit, I got busy and forgot to get back here on this..

Fuck, it blew me away. My first thought in hearing the first three tracks is I couldn't believe one of our forumers did it, that's high class stuff. The opening tracks are my favorites. If honesty, I don't have the engrams fully grown for the latter tracks. It's not a quality issue, it's my lack of practice in this genre issue. I find the music absolutly demanding of attention, all attention, and after about 10 minutes I'm overwhelmed in trying to follow it, (same way I felt about some of the FZ sinclavier stuff). With that said, someone who thinks in this music is beyond me. Sorry for my ignorance in the genre crudblud, that doesn't stop me from appreciating it, or from being amazed that you put it all together....holy shit, was I ever surprised when I heard it :)

I'm going to run it by a few more times, "get used to it" so to speak.

Changing the title threw me for a loop though. I probably wouldn't have opened it again had it not been for your name on it. Glad to see some new music here, I'll check em out once I get home.

I think I'm in the minority here, but I prefer Crudblud's earlier, performance-oriented work. Having a computer perform compositions or overdubbing lots of tracks can work in some cases, but I find you lose something when you do it too much, although I can't really describe what. "Soul" might be a good word for it. Anyway, I did enjoy George's Wedding, but I don't feel it holds up to things like Pizazza (both the EP and the LP) and Kwannukamas.

Time for more dickery now in the form of a brand new album! It's called Chamwen Msuco, and if you think that's crazy, head over to Crazy Bob's Pine Warehouse, you won't believe the crazy deals he's got on cabinets, sofas, tables and so much more! That's Crazy Bob's Pine Warehouse, all pine, all the time!

But seriously, I hope you enjoy this latest offering of mine, at 43 minutes, it's not much time wasted at all.

MP3

FLAC

Chamwen Msuco on RYM

For FLAC users without Demonoid accounts, Marqueson's Chicken has been kind enough to provide me with hosting space for my FLAC torrents. The complete list of Cazazza Dan torrents and their respective download links is available here.

As far as I'm concerned, Chamwen Msuco is the greatest thing the artist has ever done. I strongly recommend it.

Cazazza Dan now has a wiki! http://cazazza.thisinsolence.com/

It's still under development, but it's already got more detailed information than RYM (based on painstaking digging through of old chat logs and forum posts on my part), as well as all existing download links to albums, and if you make an account, you can help!

I'm trying something new. I decided to start work on a "sound drama," which is kind of like radio drama, only it has no dialogue and everything is only implied through sound. I finished work on the prologue this morning, and I am expecting to finish episode one in the next couple of weeks. For the time being, I'm making it available on Last.fm as streaming content, and I'm planning to release something akin to a season box set in FLAC and mp3 when I've completed season one.

By the way, it's called Planetary.

Listen on Last.fm

Read a little bit about Planetary because you're bored

For anybody interested in downloading a copy of Planetary Episode 0, here is a bootlegged copy of the streaming audio (available only in mp3, because the source audio was in mp3 and to encode it to any other lossy codec would deteriorate the quality further):

http://www.sendspace.com/file/e9yw94

This exercise is made slightly less exciting by the fact that I have the artist's permission to do this, but whatever.

Hey, I'm listening to The Salad now. I'm loving it! Great stuff! I wasn't so much into Piazza however, but for me guitar has always been an instrument that needs supporting music to play over. Just a preference I guess. Question though, what album was it you were talking about Baddy? Which one did you download, that sounds like the one for me!

I think Baddy's talking about George's Wedding, specifically the second half.

EDIT: I'm glad you liked The Salad!

The latest Planetary is excellent. Also, you can download it here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/3p5why

I will be bootlegging every episode of Planetary as it comes out because I am above the law.

Yup, that's it...Georges Wedding is pretty amazing, especially the first part, that's right up there in the Mussorgsky /Pictures catagory. If I could write like that (and i could never), it would be all I'd ever do...well, except drink beer sometimes too :)

I absolutely loved George's Wedding, however, it is Planetary that I am the most excited about! In case you didn't notice, I posted a message on Episode one on Last.fm

Glad you're enjoying the new stuff! I don't know when the next episode will be up, I'm going through kind of a dry patch as far as inspiration goes, and I'm not like Zappa or Zorn where they can sit and write all day regardless of stuff like that and still come out with something they like. All that having been said; rest assured that there'll be quite a few things coming out in the near future, I'm just not sure how near exactly.
