Ok, so NOW you guys whip out the shy card.

FINE, I'll go first.

Dear cleon, my occupation currently requires that I spend 99% of my day outdoors.
With the winter winds blowing in, I need to prepare.
Now... I am fine with coats, jackets, sweaters, etc.
It's the bottom half that concerns me. It concerns me because I can not wear long johns.
Not that I am allergic.
They just make me feel like I am wearing pants made out of scrambling ants.
I have tried wearing them. It just doesn't work. I itch. I pull on them. I bitch. I moan.

What do you suggest?

Wait...

you DO know what long johns are, right?

Hopefully Cleon's silence has provided you with the answer you seek.

Either that or he's Googling "long johns".

allow me...
You have to cut the bottoms off just above the knee; they'll work just fine without the discomfort.

Hm, ok. I will try this again.

Dear cleon, 9 out of 10 times I have this strange fear that something horrible is about to happen.

What should I do?

Dear cleon, I haven't given up on you yet, friend.

In your opinion, are we already beset by inhuman "intelligences", in the form of corporations,
"markets", and other semi-systemic structures organizing modern life?
