where you're mentioning it: today writes the meteorological begin of Spring on planet Earth, right? let's give them Americans a lil show then: Sun? could you waggle over the globe to the Western horizon, perhaps? now take your sleeping caps off...

here it's perfect one or two degree Celsius, early morning mist and a freezin' factor of you-know-that-feeling. Translated into far-advanced cultures would that be ninety-nine ballerooneys and a swan tip-toeing over the lake. I have incidentally won the bet with the rockmonster that we would be laughing before the bird had ventured into a galloot.., eh, galloping speed fast enough for its feathers to stay dry. Really weird was that the gelato-man sidled along and put ice-floes onto his cart, am not fabulating any fibs here. My precious friend Amethyst Peobble Hazythinker says that it has seen perfecter strangers. We now go to our favourite Happy-Metal Café for a warm chocolate. Effectually do we own that pub already since he plucks out one of the platinum hairs from his wisdom teeth every normal morning. You know, an evening runs usually up to five coppers and police-wagon.

Forecast: take a quick glance into today's papers or at any channel at any other times and you might be asking that suddenly blazing, yellow, gleaming iets in the sky from out of nowhere to conjure up some temperatures.

Dry and hot here, at least until Tuesday. Temperatures are tropic at times, over 30 deg C.

Nice spring weather in Nor-Cal, moderate temps mid 60's to 70's off and on clouds with sunshine...occasional sping showers, mixed with our wonderfully fertial landscape and everything comming into bloom it is awesome...although a bit challanging for those who suffer from allergies.

Oddly, the weather is following my commands at the moment i.e. nice and sunny during the day, thundery wet at night.

One of my other favorite forums is based out of Huntsville...

http://www.elviscostellofans.com/

Obviously no power there.

Floods here.

Awful, and awesome.

They sandbagged and bermed the spillway at the reservoir up the road.

Scary and exciting.

Also...expensive.

That looks like it might be southern Missouri.

They're talking about blowing the Birds' Point levee on the Mississippi to keep Cairo, IL from being inundated. The water will flow from there down to New Madrid , MO, taking out about 300 homes...a couple of small towns, I think.

I work down there once or twice a week. It will be spectacle.

Nope , the Licking River in Kentucky ... one of the two rivers in the world that run backwards...so the story goes.

It runs into the Ohio . which crested 4 feet above flood stage the other day ...

Bad .. but in comparison to what happened in 6 other states... a walk in the park .
