maybe I'm not a rap/hiphop expert like some of us but...much more than 2PAC, this album is something approaching Zappa's concepts IMO...what you think?

I almost understand this.....

Could it be FZ was a fan of George Clinton. George wants to use part or all of I'm The Slime. But GZ and problems with copyrights prevent this. Is that what you mean stride?

In the book For The Record-An Oral History of Parliament/Funkadelic (http://www.amazon.com/George-Clinton-P- ... 0380793784) Gary Shider or somebody said that Zappa wanted to have Glen Goins sing on his album. Goins declined.

Parliament/Funkadelic has all sorts of conceptual continuity.
