Neat post GG.

So far we're leaning in the same direction, (the Ghandi quardrant, lol...well actually, I think that's kinda cool...but coming from that quardrant, I guess would)...I'm curious where some other from the forum end up, we have some pretty good disagreements here, I'm wondering if it's from fundamental differences in philosophy, or from OTHER reasons

Here's another one in the Ghandi quadrant!
Image
It's a shame that they don't add more "respected" leaders to the compass. Right now the Gandhi quadrant is pretty much the only place to be, and even then you have to share it with Pol Pot.

I can't get the graph to pull up even after looking at everyone else's examples <shrug>

I'm between baddy and fritz. That's about right.
and now have an irrepressible urge to go listen to the Galoot Update.
Explain that!

[edit again: it wouldn't work this morning]

I think if you delete the ".jpg" at the end of your link (between your img tags), your results will post...
(PS. I know I owe ya an answer to your PM punknayowned, I just got whomped at work).

A shortcut tip for those who want to display their results:

1. Right click on the picture of your results.

2. Select and copy the line on the Property's window in it's "Address(URL)" field.

3. Paste this line into your post between img /img tags.

thanx baddy, but I tried that and it didn't work on this end <shrug>
and you don't owe me anything baddy.
Any response is welcome of course, like an unexpected birthday present,
but totally not necessary.
And I missed Bonny's birthday :|

enjoy the day

Maybe! if those are the right numbers,,,

but what this reminds me of is how
the Roman Senate thought of making a law
that would require slaves to wear something,
a kind of clothing that would distinguish them
from freemen, not just a whole other stripe.
Done in the interest of keeping better track
of runaway slaves as clothes were something that
marked a man in their culture and how many stripes,
it was quickly acknowledged however, not that
slaves could change their clothes and escape
but that , all the slaves would realize how many there actually were,
how many there were in their own situation out in the world,
realize their own numbers and rise up in revolt.
It didn't become law.

Did any americans out there realize that if you disagree with a cop
about any thing at all, in most districts, they can taser you into submission?
I guess not as many people died from that last year as from not having medical insurance,
so not enough people care,
yet.

Haha, here is a simulation of how some forum members (who shall go nameless, because their fellow forumers might find out) would score:

no poly, baddy had it right. Though you may be right about the slashes,
that still doesn't work on my original post plus you didn't drop from the x axis.
This is why I'd rather not enter into this sort of thing.
Who cares what I think?
'Those assholes' don't need me.
There isn't anything they need me for.

I never thought that I had much in common with Dalai Lama, though.

Actually Huck's point is a good one; some questions were more important for me, personally, than others. I wonder how they include that in their ratings system.

Also interesting that nearly all the "professional, democratic" politicians (both US and international) land up in the top right quadrant, though I presume the analysis of their views is taken from their public pronouncements, rather than their private views, i.e. what they expect the general public wants to hear.

The main problem I found with the questions is the catch 22 of being asked an opinion about an action taken within a system that you think is fucked in the first place. If the question was, "Would you trash the whole fucking thing?" I could whole heartedly say yes. But if the prompt is "Choose your preferable method for fucking around with the thing", how can you be properly represented if you don't like any of the options? Like the old chestnut "How many times do you masturbate per day? (1) (2) (3) or more?". Now I realise that 95% of males masturbate and the other 5% are bullshit artists, but the question is a good example of a false indicator that will misrepresent some respondents.
