From that I'd guess that slime.o's in charge! Not to worry, he likes Zappa's music. 8)

DB says I never offer solutions......

The powers that be know that there is a large demographic out there that feel the way Ron Paul claims to feel. They prop him up as the 3rd candidate in order to sucker all of the hicks into believing he really means what he's saying. He tells you what you want to hear. His speech writers understand that many people want to hear the truth about certain things. RP, who could never possibly win, tells those truths in order to suck you in. Talk about Mr Diversion! ( As DB called me) RP could never change anything. He works for the same international syndicate as Obama and Romney. Go ahead and prove he doesn't if you love proving shit so much. Actually, please don't bother trying.

It's an obvious con. It's frustrating to see this taken seriously this late in the history of Earth. Disco Boy, bless his pointed little head, wants me to "name these men" who run the show. Yeah, right. The shadowland people. The power behind the power. Men who don't allow their pictures taken and who are never in the news. We'll maybe find out who they were after they are old or dead and it is safe to talk. That's how it always goes. My solution? Stop breeding.

Apparently, you haven't read this thread (yes, all 52 pages of it). Because not only are you wrong about EVERYTHING you've stated above (apart from the surreptitious existence of the "powers that be" and that they know there's a growing Ron Paul movement...which btw, is why they fucked him over during the GOP Convention last summer by changing the rules on him at the last minute) but also because Ron Paul HAS changed things for the better for many people and will continue to. And every year his following gets bigger and bigger and bigger...

This is your problem: you claim shit...but then you don't back it up and hence you're constantly pissing in the wind, like many here. It's like your tweedle-dee and tweedle-dumb's long lost Cousin or something. But it is always entertaining to me that you actually think you know what you're talking about. So keep it up if you like.

---------------------------------

Also, ONCE AGAIN, Ron Paul is NOT a member of the Tea Party, nor is he technically a Republican. Though, they both agree on some issues...

You mean Glenn Beck is NOW considered a Libertarian. Well then, good for Glenn (and he doesn't need to mention Ron Paul).

Thanks for posting...

You're welcome...

Beck does mention Paul here, though in February 2013. Perhaps that's why he didn't mention him in the Stossel interview as that would have been a little too hypocritical, even for Glenn...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5SFw_3p2Wkc

And in September 2012 he was endorsing Romney and calling Paul supporters "delusional" and "out of their minds".

Considering Glenn Beck has changed his views, what is the point of posting the above (apart from your horrible attempts at sarcasm)... :?

a) I wasn't intending to be sarcastic. Perhaps you could point out where you think I'm being sarcastic, since you seem to believe that you know my own thoughts so much better than I do.
b) It tells us why quite a lot of Ron Paul's supporters don't want Beck's support, though you seem quite keen on it, it seems.

I also disagree that Beck is only now claiming to be a libertarian.

He was claiming it back in 2012 (approx. 1.20)...
"Much of what Ron Paul says is different in a very good way. Fiscally I agree with him[...] [H]is [Paul's] talk of eliminating government departments is borderline erotic - it's almost like conservative porn."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9miprTrD2wA

(In typical Beck manner he then goes on to claim that, in terms of foreign policy, Ron Paul is working with anti-American groups that are funded by George Soros)

and in 2011 (approx. O.48)...
"I am a libertarian, but most libertarians would reject me."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLrhl-uuxT0

and in 2010 (approx. 2.50)...
"Napolitano: Are you a libertarian?
Beck: Yeah, I think so..."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VV5rgbAYzz0

and in 2009 (approx. 1.45)...
"Couric: How would you describe your brand of politics?
Beck: Er, I don't know - libertarian? But I hack the libertarians off."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRohgYwzRMU

During the same period he endorsed Romney, Santorum, Bachmann and Palin.

Are you sure you want this guy?

How about right now?

I never stated or implied that I was keen on Beck's Libertarian support. ALL I said after YOU pointed it out, was that if he really is officially a Libertarian now, good for him.

I don't consider those statements to be solidifying Libertarian beliefs. It sounds like at that point in time, he was sitting on the fence...

As long as he sticks to his principles, doesn't flip-flop or BS...

...a video of Ron Paul's speech in Knoxville, TN 4-12-13.

He's speaking even more truth now that he is out of the political game.

Check out the Ron Paul Corvette. What other politician has fans that spend their own money to campaign for them?

Ron Paul tells it like it is. Beyond any other label that could be applied to him, he is an iconoclast.

Whatever one might think of him for whatever reason he never comes off as some sort of liar. He describes reality very well, if you ask me, and that's a lot better than most politicians, who usually just regurgitate the party line.

The political reality in the USA is manufactured by the powers that be. Most of the elected play a silly game of making the people think they make a difference.

The military industrial complex sucks money out of our treasury to build war machines, and what do you know...there's always a war. Welfare in the USA is not only for poor folks, it's for industry, too. Corporations born and raised in the USA with the help of international monetary and trade agreements have taken most of their manufacturing to far-away lands. The percentage of unemployment in the USA is a manipulated figure based on limited data, and what jobs are available are less beneficial to the average worker, less pay, fewer perks. The USA is failing, the dollar is failing, the banks are failing, and it looks like we can look forward to even harder times for people trying to make a living.

Most politicians would just say it's going to get better and it's all the fault of the other party.

Face it. Ron Paul is worthy of admiration.

Unless you ask him about his racist newsletters.

Oh, Ron Paul's campaign, she ain't what she used to be,
Ain't what she used to be, ain't what she used to be.
Ron Paul's campaign, she ain't what she used to be,
Many long years ago.
Many long years ago, many long years ago.
Ron Paul's campaign, she ain't what she used to be,
Many long years ago.

Ron Paul's campaign, she kicked on the whiffletree,
Kicked on the whiffletree, kicked on the whiffletree
Ron Paul's campaign, she kicked on the whiffletree
Many long years ago.

Why is the race card always played by certain people and/or groups as a first volley in any political debate ?

Why is played over and over as if that one point negates any reality the opposing , non card playing , group might bring to the discussion ?

Why ??

Because it's easier to yell fire than to look for the smoke.

He's not sincere. He's reading speeches.

Just like Obama.

I'd say it's because of a lack of imagination.

And Spacebrother obviously feels guilty for being white.

When Sun Ra visited Africa, he was greeted at the airport by people telling him, "Welcome home."
Ra replied, "This is not my home. Your people sold me."

8)

The race card has been overplayed and mostly used by the same people who consider themselves non-racists.

Yes, but in the US it is predominately white on black and to a certian degree white on latino, but the greatest injustices befall the blacks and especially black males that are in the criminal justice system.
