No, no he's not.

Watched that stupid documentary again (it's been about 2 years) and I was floored at the stupidity.

I'm pretty sure he's dead from the neck up.

Wings was okay, but most of his work after the Beatles was slop.

If you ask me. Were you asking me?

I'll one up you and suggest your summation that Wings was "ok" is far too generous.

it is not "cranberry sauce", it is clearly "white fish".

Even worse. Paul LOVED white fish until Linda converted him to vegetarianism. It's all right there if you make stuff up in your mind.

When I was sophomore in High School my History teacher was into this and we spent 2 weeks reviewing the evidence and playing records backwards and it was fun and interesting.

The conclusion we made is it was most likely a marketing ploy that had a delayed reaction. Then many years later I read an article that claimed that John Lennon had thought it up as a marketing ploy but it did not catch on contemporarily with the releases. But it turned out to catch on years later after they disbanded and increased sells in the early 70’s.

Did John Lennon actually say that? If he did I don't think he's telling the truth.

I want to say I read this back in the 80's (but I am not sure) and I can't tell you if they directly quoted John or if it was attributed to him. The jest of what I read was something like...he (John) as a kind of ploy to get people to buy more records added the backwards masking and the album cover clues and the lyrics hinting to Paul’s death into albums but it did not really catch on until after they broke up, which boosted album sales for years and turned out to be a very successful marketing ploy.

I can tell you from listening to the albums, the clues are there, they are clear and do not requirer any leap of faith... :smoke:

Ya gotta admit that the guy pretending to be Paul does a damn good job writing albums in the same sappy way Paul did, live shows with the same cheeky self-reference. I'm gonna see Yes next month and I'll see if the guy pretending to be Jon Anderson is as good.
