Remember way back when I put that embarrassing video of me playing Nothing Else Matters on my piano on YouTube? Which I removed in two weeks since it was a wee bit too bad??

Now I'm back, triumphantly, with the Worn Down Piano series! Someday I hope to be able to actually play Worn Down Piano but until then it's just the classical gold, starting off with my favourite Chopin waltz: no 7 in C sharp minor.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Xe4BSvs1KY

Watch it now, before I get embarrassed again!!

It's become a lot easier for me to remember music since I studied musicology and learnt everything about musical theory. So you're not just remembering which note you're playing but also what chord it is and what its tonal function is.
(And the right hand has to go from motor memory since the left one jumps octaves a lot.)

Thanks all! I was a bit embarrassed about posting this but you made me feel better!

No 2 in the Worn Down Piano series:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjOk0nAHqyo

For some reason, Beethoven's piano sonata is not in the public domain. So I get an ad on the side, nothing I can do.

Very cool. I just heard The Entertainer last week after not hearing it for ages and liked it.

Since my special someone had his birthday a few days back, I recorded his favourite for him: Mozart's Rondo Alla Turca.
It doesn't go very well: all the octaves and the heavy piano keys compared to my Yamaha keyboard (and a nasty little sequence that sounds too much like Santa Claus Is Coming To Town) I got a bit frustrated and started on some rag after finishing.

Being even bolder!
It's quite hard to draw at such an angle, so I put the ugliest music and the skimpiest blouse in my possession to rescue my mystique.
I think I failed.

I enjoyed your artistic rendition of a Disney icon, and the ease in which you draw.

Oh, and the side boob too.

Purple. Unless properly lit, purple tends to look blue with bad lighting on my camera.
